Catcher by training, his likely career path is more apt to be third base. Fox is one of the few promising prospects on the Cubs farm that keeps getting solid read from those in the know who are pleased with his development and look for him to be a role player in the not too distant future. The only thing that could upset his, and other Cubs players pathways would be radical changes in the organization made by whatever new ownership takes over the Cubs.
